Consultant Obstetrician with a special interest in Labour Ward leadership & Risk Management -London

For our Client, Londonbased NHS Hospital Trust we are seeking 2 dynamic and talented Consultant Obstetricians to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in order to provide 98 hours consultant cover for labour ward. The post holders will provide consultant cover and leadership for antenatal patients, daytime and out of hours cover for labour ward along with the existing team of 14 consultants.

These posts would suit consultants who are looking for the satisfaction of making a real difference in a busy inner city London University Hospital.

The appointee will be expected to provide leadership in Obstetrics Risk management and also support the Labour ward matron in leading the Labour Ward.

The Trust recently renovated 80% of it’s wards and facilities extending the Labour, Neonatal and Maternity wards.
